I just have to let you all know that I'm still getting over my shower. And still getting through the mountain of food and goodies you left us with. Brent, sorry Mom forgot the cold cuts here, but Chad's plowed through all of the roast beef, and is well on his way to finishing off the turkey (That turkey had no chance.).
I'm very touched by the over-the-top preparations and gorgeous spread you guys put together for me. Not to mention the traveling AND the get out of thank you notes card you slipped my way. Oh, and the gifts, too! I felt like a princess!
Wait a minute. Wait. A princess? Making me feel like a princess? Okay, now I'm getting it. This was all an effort to perpetuate the image of princess Mary, right? And to think I was touched. No, I'm pissed.

Okay, I've had time to think it over, and it's okay. I just looked at the picture below, and even though I'm sitting like a football player, just look at my subjects fawning over me and my child to be.
How does the phrase go? To whom much is given... Okay, guys. If I was born to be your princess, so be it.

Marsie, nowhere Blue's favorie aunt would rather be.
And a huge thank you to Clare. A medium big thank you to Martha. If the egg thing had worked out, you'd have been up for a huge one. But tender means tender. And those were crunchy.
But. Could SOMEONE have told me about my hair? Someone?
I knew CHad would love the cold cuts...even though I didn't leave them by mistake. I DID, however, bring home the yummiest bread - Dad was really enjoying it and so looking forward to having more for breakfast the next morning...but Cali also thought it was really yummy...
anyone want a dog? Blue? Luca? On man!
Love the pictures, Mary, and loved the afternoon spent with you...and can't wait to do it again....Blue in arms!
And Jeepers...couldn't SOMEONE said SOMETHING about Annie hair?
#1 In case anyone is jealous, I get to potentially see the Bluebird every Wed for the rest of the semester = I'll be right in line after Clare for fav (also, might I add that the little bird is being bestowed the best middle name ever)
#2 Annie, I just saw your hair and laughed out loud. I think I'll go have another look so I can giggle again.
I never worried for a second that it would be a success.
