What a great party!*

Thank you Lisette, Martha, and all for the planning and work you put into this party. As Martha said to me before Mom got there, we will remember this night forever.

I don't want to be a spoiler and post our family picture for BMills readers. It and more photos are on flickr. //www.flickr.com/photos/cosmic-charlie/

*With a second look at this post I realize how gay that title was. Sorry boot that.

Save The Date!

My little boy seems almost all grown up. Andrew will be 14 this year and graduating 8th grade! (That's his best bud Jake, my fourth son)
I really wanted to give him a nice big family party this year, since we didn't do much last year and I don't remember why...
After talking with Dad and Mary I've picked May 17th, Sunday, around 1pm for a backyard party at my house. Fri bad for NewYorkers, and Laurie and my niece and I work Sat's.
Dad and Mom leave for France the following weekend.
I will send out invites, but please mark down the date. He is very excited in talking about this!
I haven't forgotten Luca shares his May 11th date, we will figure something out,but I just wanted to have a special thing for Andrew. :)

Off to conquer new worlds...

Brent William Brewster, the youngest of the "little ones", is 18!
A son, brother, uncle, and newly minted Godfather, Brent has grown into a fine young man.

I remember an episode when Brent was about 10. Tired of being told how to do something (by one of the girls), he threw a kitchen chair across the room and declared, "I don't like being the youngest! I'll never be able to boss anyone around!"
Take up your sword, Brent, and keep the music going.
