Save The Date!

My little boy seems almost all grown up. Andrew will be 14 this year and graduating 8th grade! (That's his best bud Jake, my fourth son)
I really wanted to give him a nice big family party this year, since we didn't do much last year and I don't remember why...
After talking with Dad and Mary I've picked May 17th, Sunday, around 1pm for a backyard party at my house. Fri bad for NewYorkers, and Laurie and my niece and I work Sat's.
Dad and Mom leave for France the following weekend.
I will send out invites, but please mark down the date. He is very excited in talking about this!
I haven't forgotten Luca shares his May 11th date, we will figure something out,but I just wanted to have a special thing for Andrew. :)

enlarge the top picture...What a handsome Andrew!
Maureen - I think it's terrific that you're doing this for Andrew, especially considering what a turn he's made these past months.
Let me know what I can do to help.....and isn't it going to be sooooo good that Dad will be home to help celebrate!!

Ooh, sounds so fun!

Unfortunately......it's the same day as Luca's birthday party with all his preschool friends! (at 4pm, so we can't do the party and then come after) Yup, the only day we could do it too.

Wouldn't it just be the case that not only are our boys born on the same day, but the same WEEK as Mother's Day! Not that I care, but other moms might not be too psyched to do a party that day. And Luca has - get this - SOCCER on Saturdays starting in May - how cool is that?

Anyway, REALLY wish we could be there!!

What a good-lookin' guy. But I hate you for picking this date!! It's David's birthday and I'll be in California for it :( Wish I could be there!

Ann and Alo....oh no!
Don't feel bad, these things happen! As many as can be there will be great. Even Jim's brother Mike is pretty sure he can come down from VT! Yay!
