In order to combat cardiovascular diseases, the consumption of foods that are loaded with compounds that reduce cholesterol and blood pressure are necessary. Antioxidants are vital. The acai berry is the most powerful antioxidant food on the market today. You will find acai in the form of juices, and there are many on the market today. Be sure to read the labels to determine which contain the most pure forms of the acai berry.

A remarkable concentration of antioxidants that help combat premature aging, with 10 times more antioxidants than red grapes and 10 to 30 times the anthocyanins of red wine.
A synergy of monounsaturated (healthy) fats, dietary fiber and phytosterols to help promote cardiovascular and digestive health.
An almost perfect essential amino acid complex in conjunction with valuable trace minerals, vital to proper muscle contraction and regeneration. The fatty acid content in acai resembles that of olive oil, and is rich in monounsaturated oleic acid. Oleic acid is important for a number of reasons. It helps omega-3 fish oils penetrate the cell membrane; together they help make cell membranes more supple. By keeping the cell membrane supple, all hormones, neurotransmitter and insulin receptors function more efficiently. This is particularly important because high insulin levels create an inflammatory state, and we know, inflammation causes aging.
I read about acia berries in the paper the other day and decided to do some research on them. The two paragraphs above I retrieved from google sites.
I don't know about all of you, but this is something I'm going to try.
Juice is the best way to consume acia and probably the best way to get the juice is to shop around on the internet.
If any of you have heard of acia, do you know if you can get it in powder or vitamin form?

I have heard of it, but I don't know of any websites.
Google Acia Berries and you'll find lots of info
All I know, is I have a spa candle and amazing lotion I ordered at a party for candlelite, acia being the main ingredient, and the smell is out of this world yummy.
Maybe I should ingest the stuff?
Very interesting!
Also, grape seed extracts are supposed to be wonderful to help immune system. My OBGYN is awesome and super holistic, and really recommends these.
Of course, real grape juice- one glass a day will do as well. It is supposed to do wonders.
Luca RAVES about grapejuice. He has multiple cups a day (watered down but still). He's always saying. "Want some juice?"
Annie and I tend to drink the grape too but prefer the fermented kind. It does wonders for courage, social anxiety, self esteem and philosophical/theological musings.
I'm currently obsessed with grape juice too. Un-watered down. But, Marty, I suppose by "real" you meant juiced from grapes?
