Movie Recommendation

Beowulf
This movie revolutionizes action the same way the Matrix did in 1999. You MUST see it in 3D. (the glasses are not annoying at all since they are like sunglasses now and didn't bother me over my regular glasses) Sean and I thoroughly enjoyed it and I think most of you would agree that it is a fun movie to watch. There is a lot of violence and some animated nudity, but we felt like kids because director Robert Zemekis id not hold back on anything. He used every camera angle you can't do in live action movies, and the 3D was very convincing; incredible animation.
2 thumbs up

I admit, Frank and I saw it and thought it was really fun. Granted ultimately entirely forgettable, but the wienies in us were very entertained for 2 hours.

Sorry, Mom "Beowulf". And, no, you can't take the boys to see it. Although you don't actually see the girl naked (more like a Barbie doll) the demon mother is an animated Angelina Jolie, and there is not much left to the imagination.

Ann. Did you see it in 3D?

Lisette, believe me, it's worth seeing. It's like the first time you go on a roller coaster. Even if in the end you don't talk about the plot a whole lot or even think it's forgetable(like Ann), the 3D action is very state of the art. Like I said, like the Matrix.

Mike is a weinie.

Mom, it's also a bit violent for them.

Nora, this looks really cool visually! But I was sad to hear that they had Beowulf sleeping with Grendel's (the demon/really bad guy, right?) mother. In the book he was the good conquering evil! This is the oldest of all stories, I can't believe they didn't trust it to hold up!

Fun trailer, though.

Yes, it's more "Beowolf: Reinterpreted". If my memory serves, at best a small portion is accurate, and the rest weaves a background explanatory tale.

Yup, saw it in 3D - got the impression that was the only way you could see it? We tried to get into IMax but it was sold out.
