Thank you all for your calls and messages....and thank you,Lisette for this Post.( and my birthday balloon) Lisette knows what kind of a day I had today ( not-so-good) but this post was such a surprise and really cheered me up.
Dad called this morning with his happy birthday ( and had sent an email) and all of it right in the middle of my 2 hour battle with an ebay seller - I was NOT a happy camper. Later this afternoon, he called again, "Had I rec'd any packages?". "Well, no", I answered. And I HAD been checking out the door window (still expecting packages ordered last week)but while I had him on the phone, I stepped outside ( to check again) and there it was: a large box of flowers, left on the side of the porch where they couldn't be seen! Beautiful, long stem red roses! The box was cold and the roses were cold ( even though double boxed), but they're looking splendid now in their new home. I LOVE them!!! And then my ebay guy admitted that he had sent me the wrong item, and then I saw this post....and, well, ...the day turned out much better than how it began.
(I must admit that this is one of my favorite pictures - especially with Charlie scowling as I'm smiling! That was such a fun day at the park in NY last Spring.)
