Attention, All Hands. This is the Captain Speaking
We're sitting at anchor at Corpus Christi (rather appropriate place to be if you can't be home). Dense fog in the harbor and we must wait for it to clear.
I miss you all very much! Such a blessing to be able to be on line here!
Love,
Poppie

Miss you tons Dad. Merry Christmas! Wish you could be with the family, or at least me :)
Merry Christmas, Poppie! For Christmas I got slippers that are scrumptious like yours.
We miss you.
Hi Sweetie -
You called during the "Christmas rush" and we couldn't talk for long, but that call made my Christmas.
PS on Mary's gift: Aloise scored on that one. I was struggling mightly trying to decide what to get Mary. After going with the slipper idea ( indoor/outdoor), it was left to Aloise to choose them since she had the car and was in the vicinity of the store. She brought them home but questioned that they might be too "manly". Being a last minute purchase, we decided Mary could exchange them if they didn't suit her.
Forward to 2 days later: when speaking to Chad about this, he told me that he, too, had bought her slippers. oops!
Christmas Day: Mary opened her slippers and loved them! And Chad? He had returned the slippers(for another gift)on Christmas Eve,
but told us that he had chosen the very same pair of slippers for Mary.
And remember Sean's gift and the battle with my ebay guy? That story is still on-going and, as Sean declared on the phone yesterday, "it deserves it's own Post!", which it will get, as soon as the cobwebs leave my head.
Merry Christmas,Poppie from all of us Blanchard's. Missed you so much yesterday!
