Coming Soon to a Town in Connecticut

A Really Cool Guy Brings It To Us

Father McElheron at St. Martha's will be adding the "extraordinary form" of the Mass to the schedule starting this Easter.  You may recall Fr. McElheron is the younger brother of Rosie Antunes.  The greying hippies won't like it, but what the heck.  Let's join the guy in the middle photo in celebration!  It's been a long forty years.

I've been going to St Martha's since the New Year, knowing Fr.(Dan always to me) McEleren was the new pastor and knowing the stuff he's made of; I haven't regretted one minute of that decision. Fr's demeanor during Mass, and his sermons...what a breath of much needed fresh air... and what joy!

So head's up boys and girls:
Easter Mass will be at 1:30.
And who cares if it's in a converted gym... Not me. Not anymore.

(Yes, Maureen....we'll have to re-plan the day as the NY kids normally leave early afternoon Easter Sunday for Clare's yearly Habitat. )
But that's for a later conversation.
Right now all I can do is rejoice
