I look at these two and wonder at the granduer they are experiencing now that they have moved past the veil.
It made me recall something I read once about a Christian martyr of the Nazi holocaust (Dietrich Bonhoeffer, perhaps?). The moment before his death he was given a chance to speak by is persecutors. He said simply, "In a moment I will know so much more than you." To know and not have to wonder about it anymore, all the fumbling gone.
It makes me think that death is such a grand and beautiful thing.

As ever, Clare, you put it so well. I often envy how you can be so poignent and so succinct at the same time.
Thought of you all yesterday and wished I could have been there.
Can you imagine Granner's face when he greeted his bride again?
It's like there were two weddings on Saturday.
