Spent last weekend upstate leading these St. Agnes seniors on retreat. Always reassuring to feel the Holy Spirit at work.
About 50 seniors from different Marist Brothers schools on the east coast were in attendance. Stags go up looking for time to reflect, look inward, and hang out with girls. Usually girls outnumber boys on this retreat, but oddly, only 7 girls were in attendance. Suckers...
Students are broken down into small groups Thursday evening and work closely together until departure Sunday morning. This is my all-boy crew, the young lady being my assistant leader. (Only Patrick, in the red sweatshirt, is from St. Agnes.) As you can tell, no male bonding ensued.Go Stags.
