Our sad excuse for snow.

I've really wanted snow lately, and Maureen's post didn't help! Last week it finally snowed...kind of...Barbara was concerned about Sean driving my car instead of the truck. He's in for a big surprise in CT!

Here was the source of her worries.

You can see some white in the street...

...Oh, wait! There's some on the driveway (even if the grass is green still). Yet, you can't really blame her, there was a 2hr delay for schools.
Then this morning, we woke up and I thought, "Yay, we can finally put that snowsuit to use!"

But I suppose I should have known from the pavement showing through the snow that it wouldn't really be much. The grass was still visible.

But we had just enough to make a snowman. Perfect packing snow.

These were taken this morning, and as of 4PM, the carrot and all but one stone are laying in the wet grass...no snow in the yard anymore. And yes, if it weren't a holiday, the schools may still have been closed.
