The whole park is made to look like Hollywood in different eras. Also they have a lot of set pieces like San Fransisco below.
We took advantage of the quiet to ride the Aerosmith roller coaster. A W E S O M E! Instead of the traditional slow assent up a hill, this one slingshots you at the begining of the ride so you go from 0-60 in 2.8 seconds. Then the whole ride is inside a dark building with only blacklit signs occasionally, so you don't know when you'll go upside down or spiral. We went on it again before we left. Then we rode the Tower of Terror below. Also pretty damn cool.
You're in an elevator that (in the dark) suddenly drops you a few stories and then you bounce back up. This repeats and you never know if you'll go up or down next. Lots of fun.
We knew this would be a day for Sean and I due to the attractions here, so it was a nice surprise when Minnie & Daisy showed up right away for Maggie. (we just missed Pluto & Goofy)
Oh, wait, Stitch was there too!
We went to the Muppet 3-D show (not Disney, but whatever) and Maggie thought we were seeing Sesame Street. She really liked this one.
As you can see, she aquired Kermit (below) and he became her best friend for the rest of the trip.
OK, so above is what Maggie looked like whenever she saw a character. Below is how she was when they actually got near her.
So we didn't get many smiling pictures with the characters. These were at the Playhouse Disney lucnh we did.
After lunch, Barbara and I watched the Beauty & the Beast show while Sean got passes for rides.
Sean & I went to this stunt show called "Lights, Motor, Action" (I don't know how to insert pics and or videos in these posts, and I don't want it at the begining of this one, so I'll post the videos next...Mary, anyone?)
We saw the Little Mermaid show, but it wasn't great. We rode the Toy Story ride which was really cute and fun, and Maggie played on the Honey I Shrunk the Kids set.

Where the heck did you stay? That pool look sa-weet!
That's funny. We stayed at the cheapest hotel within the Disney resorts. This pool is in the shape of a guitar (The 3 Caballeros are on the circle in the center). At the top of the guitar is a separate kiddie pool that's in the shape of the part where the strings would be tuned (very technical words, I know).
Love you letting her stay up past bedtime.
Breaking the rules is one of the fun things about vacations, at least thats what my kids say :)
