Debbie bought Maggie this dress before Florida and at first I thought it might be a bit girly, but boy does she look sweet when she's all girly.
Debbie's family and we parted ways (Barb stayed with us) and we headed back to the Magic Kingdom, to actually enjoy it this time. Maggie was not sick, but it was pouring on and off until about noon. No matter, we kept to indoor attractions when it was really bad, and dealt with wet hair and bottoms when it slowed down.
On this day we did pretty much everything one can do in the Magic Kingdom. We went to all the "lands" and rode the rides. I mention a few since these are the rides I knew of and wanted to go on before I got there. Space Mountain was great (also it's indoors and it was raining when we went on it). After the rain stopped we started with Splash Mountain (our favorite ride after Aerosmith) since were already wet and did the Big Thunder Mountain Railroad.
We watched the Country Bears Jamboree.
Saw the Celebrate a Dream Come True parade.
Eat your heart out Charlie!
Watched Zazu and Iago in the updated show in the Tiki room (Maggie danced through the whole thing.)
Aloise, this is for you. Someone has been added to the Pirates of the Caribbean ride :)
We rode the jungle cruise (the safari from day 2 with the real animals was better).
After we were done doing new things, we decided to revisit the Pooh ride.
We saw Deb's family there (this was their first ride of the day and our last). It was nice to have Maggie so happy to see Pooh at the start of our trip, and to have his be the last ride she did.
We then went home and put Maggie to bed. Sean and I returned in time to see the fireworks. We also saw the Spectro Magic parade, where all the people and floats are adorned with lights; it was really pretty. We redid some of the things we liked from earlier and finished out what we missed. The park was open late for Disney hotel guests, so we got an extra 3 hours and didn't leave until after midnight. I wouldn't have thought we would have had enough things to fill that time, but we did, and it was fantastic.
Side note: it was so freeing to be in the park with no baby or stroller or backpack, so we decided not to bring anything extra. This is why, dear readers, you are missing pictures from the rest of our night. But don't think it didn't bother me while watching the parade and the fireworks and seeing Disney at night for the first time, that I wasn't saddened by this fact ;)

3 hours to yourselves, no kids, no stroller, no nothing. Sounds like a magical place to me!
