The Privilege of Being a Mother

Clare lent me Alice Von Hildebrand's The Privilege of Being a Woman. She was right that it was a good time to read it. Being a woman is beautiful. Being a mother is exquisite.

God must have known I needed to be spending all of my time with Charlie and Catherine. It was a gift to have lost my job. I am happier now than I've been in a while. It's funny how the best things to happen to you are the ones you might not choose for yourself. I can now fully be the mother that I am. And I am loving it. Loving it. I thought any anxiety I had about having a third so fast was gone a month ago. Well now it's really gone. Bring him on. I can't wait. I know you'll take care of us, God. Thank you for our babies.

Motherhood is amazing, Mary, and you're amazing at it. Can't wait to meet the littlest Buri.

i'd like to edit my previous post and remove henry as an option.

mike doesn't know what we've stopped calling names in our family, and became quite concerned at my suggestion.

don't worry, mikey, i got your back...

Mary......you've always known this.
Your family is a huge blessing to all of us. And you are a fantastic mother.

May I suggest Samuel or Daniel?
Love those names :)
