"Patty! Be-que tu take mios rocks from my hands?"
That was Cyrus ( who thinks Patrick's name in Spanish is Patty) suddenly reverting to Spanish as the 2 boys played with rocks Friday afternoon. Notice the "B-que". ie. because and porque joined. And that's just one of so many Spanglish words Cyrus comes up with - I wish I had written them all down.
Anyway, that's a preview of my stay in Baltimore. Don't know when - or if - Cy and Cathi will re-join us but in the meantime I'll be posting pics of the family and the house; have to get caught up here and then download my photos.
But I will leave you with this: I got into conversation with Cyrus about Dad's bee-keeping project, spoke about both the bees and the beekeeper outfit and mentioned that Dad had found a child's outfit and was excited to have his grandchildren help him. Cyrus was equally excited - for a while. And then he became very serious, very pensive. "Nana", he asked, gesticulating as only Cyrus can do, "I have a problem. I don't have any money. How I going to buy a "costume" to help Grandpa?".
And I'll leave you with one more piece of news: the family will be joining us for Thanksgiving this year!
Hold on to your hats!

I am very excited for Thanksgiving and to see these boys!!
Thanks for posting this Mom. Welcome home.
Oh my Lord, these boys are gorgeous!
The Spanglish kills me. I really miss these boys and their parents, hello.
But Mom, did you Photoshop teeth onto Alexander's smile?
Tell me it doesn't look like he has teeth—he's doing the little kid smile.
This picture came from Cy so, no, I didn't photoshop :)
But yes, it is funny! And Alexander is really a most beautiful little man. Oh my!
Of the four pictures I've seen of this little gentleman, he looks JUST like Rus in every one.
Poor chap.
No, really, he's gorgeous. Gorgeous.
I think that's my all-time favorite picture of the lads.
My goodness but Cyrus looks so different!!
I love these boys...Alexander is such a cutie
I can't WAIT to see them at Thanksgiving!!!!
