Let is Snow, Let it Snow, Let it Snow!

We woke Sean just before 9 even though he didn't have to be at work till 11 (he ended up getting a call that he could wait until 2 to come in), because I just couldn't resist the snow (we so rarely get this much here).

And lo and behold, Santa sent one of his elves early to drop off a present. He explained that although it's early, he knows (he's always watching, after all) how rare this snow is and we should make use of the gift if we can. It was a really cool snowman kit, complete with pipe.

We played around in the 3 or 4 inches we had at the time; showing Maggie how to make snow angels, and how to aim a snow ball.

We built this little guy, and dusted off Sean's old sled from when he was a kid.

We then came in for homemade hot chocolate, french toast and bacon. And Maggie continued with her refrain throughout the meal, "You can sing another Christmas song, Mommy and Daddy." And we did (through full mouths of food at times). Dancing, of course, ensued on her part.
Now there is over a foot out there and the snow is covering the bottom half of our Frosty...guess I'm gonna be fishing out his pieces soon :)
