ehhem..

1) new Sudoku book
2) a pretty cake stand
3) a nice cardigan (generally a medium)
4) earmuffs
5) or money towards a new camera for Kenya

OR maybe the way for some to go about it is to just say what NOT to buy them. Like, please no clothes I'm picky. Or please nothing that is useful, I like lofty things I won't buy for myself. Or something that IS useful. I could go on and on... take it away, people!

Here goes..some ideas...

No clothes or jewelry...too picky.
1) nice slippers
2) black or red leather gloves..probably large?
3) barnes and noble/sephora giftcard
4) new fridge (kidding)
5) Annie and Paul home....sigh

surprise me!

Ummm, no clothing either...

1) a new purse as mine is about to go
2) I'm NOT too picky about jewelry...as long as it's simple.
3)I'm approaching 30 (yikes) so good skin products are always nice (wrinkle cream, face masks, etc.)
4)a hand mixer (not a beater but the kind for soups and sauces) I am making soup all the time and it would be great not to have to transfer it to a blender in batches and then back to the pot.
5) when all else fails, gift card for Loew's cinemas...you know me :)

And yes, I also love surprises.

Not really sure...
-Jewelry is always good
-money towards a new desk for my computer
-gift cards to restaurants(Rob and I love to go out, but are trying to save)

Hope that helps...If I have anymore ideas I will let you know

I want an immersion blender, too!
Or maybe a light weight cardigan. Grey or cream. I'm a small or medium (size 4 or 6). Something like this: http://www.gap.com/browse/product.do?cid=8993&vid=1&pid=691502&scid=691502002
Or feel free to pick something out.

I think I would really like a coat rack for my front hall!

Why, you ask?
Because I've wanted one for years....b/c y'all need a place to hang your coats when you're here!

In fact, over the years I've amused myself with looking at some online. But those had added umbrella holders and I don't need that anymore.

Any more ideas? I'll let you know :)

KBB said...

Oh...and if you go for a coat rack ( or coat tree is another term), I'd rather it wasn't wood. I like metal or iron, preferably black.

Or surprise me with something funky.
PS Overstock is where I used to look.
:)

Cy also mentioned that I should upgrade my DVD player to HD quality ( but not blue ray).
So that's another idea.

Ahoy, family! Once Mom sends out our Kris Kringles, I would like to start my shopping right away. So, if you would all be so kind, please offer some suggestions so that I may make my wee Kringle most happy come Christmas day. I will start with my own requests but, of course, if you think of something on your own, surprises are the best :)

Merry Christmas!

PS - Mom and Dad, you too!

Wait a minute. I spent 5 whole minutes thinking that little elf was Catherine!

Something I forgot to add to my list (if my person hasn't gotten me anything), is a bookbag for Kenya. One that is good for hiking/travelling.

**I love all jewelery. The golder and bolder the better- and I'm talking necklaces, earrings, bracelets, whatever. Specifically vintagey looking jewelery

**Candles. Not holders, actual candles, or Yankee Candle type things

**Nordstrom gift certificate

**Pretty table runner or place mats

**And I obviously love clothes. I can be picky, but if you think I'd like it, then I probably will. :)

**I will love anything though, of course!

Hi everybody If you didn't get my present I will like a Billy's Bootcamp (exercises videos), or a black jacket (medium) like Lisette or Aloise, or My secret Santa come to Baltimore. That,s will be nice.

Anything that you want to give me will we nice.

SICK picture, Lisette.

Hmmm let's see...

-I'm not too picky about clothes, and I could use some. Especially sweaters, I don't have too many of them. I usually wear a small :)

-I need new boots of all kinds, so maybe a gift certificate to Famous Footwear or Zappos.com

-a new AM/FM Ipod adaptor for my cahh

-I'm surprised no one's said it yet: Bare Minerals makeup is always good

-As are giftcards to Southwest Airlines so I can visit my man!

I would like:

A pair slippers, like those everybody got a few years ago. L.L.Bean has a good pair.. (fur lined, leather bottoms, I think)

New York Times crossword puzzle book (weekly, not Sunday)

A pair of leather, lined, gloves.

An Ipod adapter for my car (good one Aloise!)

That's all I can think of now....

Maureen said...

Clare...how about"leather gloves, (good one Maureen!)....:>)"

O Mojo, you were definitely an inspiration. How dare I forget.

Shmalzy said...

Clare, FYI those slippers you want are the "Wicked Good Moccasins" from LL Bean :)

Nice face dork.

If the person is still looking for me you can give me money toward a Milwaukee 5615-24 1.75-Horsepower Multi-Base Router Kit Includes Plunge Base and BodyGrip Fixed Base from amazon. (dad knows). Or you could just buy the whole thing.

Or whatever you want.

Well. I'd like a dress shirt, a wool hat (golf style), wool socks. No sweaters this year as I have more than I will wear.

Secret Santa needs to contact me!!!For the perfect gift for Jim,( who CARES if I know who has him.)
Can't post this as he might see it..................
it goes with his xmas/bday present, which he'll open before we go to Mom's.
If you really don't want to tell me who you are, I'm emailing idea to Mom anyway!!

Sorry, sorry - mom forgot you wanted this, since we're not doing Kris Kringle. If you still need ideas:

Book - Nourishing Traditions by Sally Fallon

or, um.... I have no idea. Money towards the ultimate slip on driving shoes I've yet to decide on?

Sephora's GC for more bare minerals make up.

that's all I can think of...
xoxo

sorry i didn't give many ideas for myself. If my person hasn't purchased for me yet, I could also use some tops. I really don't have much of a wardrobe because I've been pregnant for four years (ha ha). So I need tops that try to flatter my awkward shape--that is draw focus up to the neck and chest (i.e. v-necks) and away from the belly. Ha-good luck.

Always wanted an offset spatula.

Money toward an all-clad frying pan.

The Captain said...

Oh, yah, you can always give me something toward a GPS unit for the TRUCK.
