We had a wonderful time in the beautifully secluded home.

Having this as a view made it pretty easy to wake up early!

We has daily "adventures" even though it was really cold out. We attempted to sled, but it was waaaay to slippery and gave both Maggie and I quite a shock.

Maggie's favorit spot was at the bottom of the very, very long driveway. There is a tiny bridge over a creek as you turn into the driveway, an that was "our creek water".

We played Pooh sticks on the bridge, and wandered to the water's edge. And everytime we left it (or drove over it) we had to bid it farewell. Maggie's goodbye was, "See you later, creek water. Have fun down here. We'll be back soon to see you."

The last day of our trip we went to the Luray Caverns. There's really no way to capture it on film, so I'll just share some cute pics.
I truely hope you all get a chance to enjoy this house as much as we did. I have a feeling Uncle Brent and Aunt Norma think Sean and I are a bit nuts to have had so much fun being alone with our family for 8 days...but when you rarely get this kind of time together, to spend it in a gorgeous setting with all the amenities we could ask for: fireplace, hot tub, plenty of room for hide and seek, and a fully appointed liquor closet (which we shamefully made no use of) it's not so crazy.

You are one of the best little families I know! Great post for a dreary winter. I miss you!
I'm just gonna have to speak to U.Brent about this....and visiting, kinda forget it's there you know?
Kisses to Maggie!
I'd been waiting for you to post your Tocacielos vacation...
btw - I keep meaning to correct you ( and others) on what "tocacielos" means. "Cielo" is spanish for heaven and sky. And "tocacielos" means not "touch the sky" but "touch the heavens". I love that.
Nora; you didn't post any pics of the inside. I have some from our family reunion which I will post just so the rest of you can feast your eyes.
And yes, you should all attempt to visit . Uncle Brent would be so thrilled!
Sounds heavenly.
(NPI) ("is for") (no pun intended)
Ah I want to go here! Lucky ducks!
