Uganda

Because I often get so jealous of you all sitting at home together, showering at your leisure, laying on the couch and watching TV, etc, etc, I thought it was my turn to make you all feel the same. A group of us went to Uganda this week, and it's the most incredible place I have ever seen -- even tops safari. To all you fans out there, I felt like I was in Disney's Tarzan.


Also, I got to do a couple of cool things..

Like bungee jump 145 feet over the Nile. It was terrifying.

Annnnd go white water rafting. Not as terrifying as you would think, but so much fun!



Our day in Uganda coincided with a father-son duo from Brazil who are doing this huge documentary/magazine issue about Africa, so we might be in it! There website is http://www.lightsofafrica.com. I plan on going back next month with the volunteers that didn't go this time around, just to lay around and read.
