Don't most people?
And I had one of my best ones this year. Things are starting to settle into place here which feels nothing short of miraculous. And Friday was a great day at home. After some time with Luca in the morn, I got to spend the afternoon with Leo and Paul. At one point both of them were bouncing on my lap/legs and laughing at the same time. Jigga what?
But then? A candle-lit pizza party at the homestead, complete with gluten-free pizza and pastries up the wazoo. Frank had told me he'd arranged for me to go to mom and dad's and hang out with the family, but a partay? I did not expect.
And Martha did my hair, love it!
What a wonderful, speciall day and weekend. Thank you, love you.

We had so much fun planning this, Annie; emails went out to everyone. I spoke to Brent yesterday and he asked, "How did Annie's party go?".
I can tell you that your husband was tickled pink at the idea of having you enjoy an evening out. He did ask, however, that we not spoil you :) :) :)
(When Frank called to ask how plans were going, he did have the gall to ask if the Birthday Balloon was up. What?! Hahahaha.) OF COURSE!
It was such a nice, cozy "party".
And you were the star...just as you are every day.
Happy belated birthday Annie Pants. Gluten free partay, what did you do to deserve that!
I love you, love you. Look forward to weekends of spending time with your crew.
Wish I could have been there. Love you.
