She insisted on inspecting her candy at least 7 times the day after (and organized it in Maggie-OCD-fashion). Now she continues to dump it, but is happy just to see her loot.
For a kid who rarely gets candy, this has been quite an excercise in self-control!

That candy display is awesome. Now, if you could find an old, unusable microwave, you could have Maggie ask Aunt Aloise all about "stashing".

I'm with you Annie, the only reason I can keep my hands off it is because she knows at a glance exactly what is missing!
Although she does like to select a piece or two for each of us for dessert (how generous) and if Sean, Barb or I aren't in the mood, I take it anyway and hide it just to get it out of her pumpkin!
