Maggie's first time skating

Maggie got skates for Christmas in anticipation of Lilly's Skate party in Feb, and I was certain she would never be able to skate in time.

The rink that's hosting the party also has lessons for kids every Tuesday for only $7, so I figured I'd try it out.

She loved it! I couldn't believe that she was doing it on her own the first day. Even backwards. Granted it's more of a walk than a glide now, but now I know she'll get there. Even if not by the party, I'll certainly keep taking her each week as long as she enjoys it...much cheaper that her gym class!

Now if only I could learn not to fall on my ass!
