I remember lots of magical Christmases. But the year I got decked out in My Little Pony was The Best. It's my reference point when selecting gifts for my own kids. (Leo is getting the Batcave - shh!)
Oh it really is the best day of the year! I am so excited for Christmas this year.

As grateful as I am for 18 years of Christmas presents from you ( I notice you didn't include a similar caveat in your post??), my favorite/most magical Christmas morning was when I was 8 and got my BMX. I remember waking up and not being able to walk more than a few feet into the living room because there were that many presents spillign out form under the tree includign the bike all put together and unwrapped. In fact, (true confession) my first bike was second hand and had a banana seat so this was a very big deal. In retrospect, how my folks managed to pull off such a tremendous Christmas is beyond me. Has there ever been a year (since the 13th century I mean) that was better than 1984??
