Meeting Jonathan

Yesterday the Blanchards, Annie and the boys, and I met Jonathan and his family.

Oh my word, I love him.. and his little sister, Katie (full name Catherine).

I wish I had better pictures of him playing with Henry, or showing Leo his legos, or him laughing when Luca took a large bite of the sugar cross from his cake that he had been saving. Luca, dude, come on!

At one point Jonathan was showing us all his room and Katie (who is such a good sport) was just casually sitting on the side of her bed, just in case anyone should want to see her room too. 

I don't know why, but I loved that. 

The whole family is so warm and welcoming and Diane and Ed have so 

obviously done such a great job raising them both. Jonathan came up and gave me a big hug 

-- nothing awkward or forced about it, and it was so wonderful.  

I can't wait for everyone to meet him too!
