Not really Wed. with Leo since I had him on Tuesday ~ but that's a technicality.
Still, we had another superhero day to boot! Jonathan gave Leo an Imagintex Dinosaur Castle on Sunday and, boy!, was that a hit!
When we tried to set it up here, we ran into some problems. Jonathan told me, "The directions are in the bag. Luca can read them to Leo", but they were nowhere to be found in the box that now housed the Castle. So I went online and found it, printed a picture of it and we were back in business.
It was a rainy day so I thought a tent in the dining room might be just the ticket. Leo quickly crawled into his "superhero hideout" with Batman and Iron Man and brought the Castle in with him. Taking this picture, Leo announced, "I'm growling because I'm a villian. Grrrr!".
The rain let up a bit so out we went to explore more superhero territory. Leo had brought his Captain America frisbee with him and used it as protection on his head when it began to drizzle. We - Captain America and I (now the Hulk), walked around and around and around the driveway avoiding all the mud puddles. Leo pretended there was a wall between us so that we could only yell, "Captain America are you there?", Leo answering, "I sure am! We can't see each other but we can hear each other."
After what seemed like 20 laps around the driveway, Leo spotted Dad and declared him to be Iron Man.
At this point, he became entranced with one of the puddles. Throwing his arms in the air, he told me Captain America was "getting set to conquer the world."
Leo showing me Captain America's "moves."
And with that...well, what's more FUN than stomping in mud puddles!
