Wednesdays with Leo ~ 7

I missed taking pictures last week so also missed my weekly Wed. w/ Leo.  But we're back!

Martha and Lucia spent the day with us.  While walking to the garden, I realized my camera's battery was almost done but I did manage to get these few pictures.

 ...she smiled and did her Lucia thing: reached back to pull Dad's hair.  Leo became a superhero, of course!

Leo and Lucia had a very nice day together. They ate lunch together, played on the hammock with Martha and hung out watching Mickey Mouse Club after Lucia's nap.

At one point Lisette dropped by and was so happy to see them, especially Leo whom she doesn't see very often these days.
While both Lucia and Martha napped, Leo and I spent some good time at the park; 1st time in 3 weeks!

But the funniest part of the day was playing "opposites"
Leo had been watching a "Little Bear" episode called "Opposites"; good night instead of good morning; this smells awful instead of this smells nice.  Leo got such a kick out of it!

Driving home I was Poppi and Leo was Luca.  We flew on a dirt road and it was night time and the moon and stars were out.  While Leo was Luca, I had to keep from laughing out loud.  "I can read lots of books, Poppi.  And I read to Leo all the time. Leo is a very good boy!  He's almost 4 and I'm going to teach him how to read.  Ha! I guess Mom is going to have to help, though."  And on and on and on.  "And when we get home I'm going to be so excited to see Dad and Leo, aren't you?"  

Next time I'll make sure my camera is charged; especially if Lucia comes to share the day with us.
