Happy Birthday, Catherine!

     

  

 

                                      The day you were born, Dad brought me a beautiful bunch of lilacs;  I forever think about you when they bloom every year.  



                                 
       

You were our Lollywinks, but that's no excuse for me always putting your hair up in those crazy spouts.  Martha would have done a better job of it, I think :) 

Your Colorado days took you far away from us...and for so long.  We can't imagine you not being here now.

                                             
     Those crazy spouts again!   But they had such a nice bounce when you danced and did your gymnastics :)

And here again!  
I always loved this picture of you and Annie.  I remember taking it: you were so proud to have climbed so high.  

 

  You bring joy into our lives. Your generosity, kindness and down-to-earth wisdom has become a mainstay.    But you're still our Lollywinks ~ always will be :)
