Happy Birthday, Nora!

I got you a card, meaning to send so that you would get it in the mail today.  I don't know how or why I've misplaced it.  Oh! Maybe because of the zoo of children inhabiting my home ~ always something getting misplaced or lost.  Luckily, all children were accounted for so I guess we did something right.

But I'm happy that we didn't have to decorate the house for your birthday today or that we didn't keep up Maggie's b-day decorations until your birthday, as Maggie had initially requested :)  Happy that you are able to spend it with your family because you are now home and on your way back to your life.

And you are, Nora, a beautiful young woman; brave and strong and grounded and dedicated to those you love.  I know Sean and the girls are thrilled to have you to themselves today.  But tell the girls I haven't forgotten your birthday ~ the misplaced card (or a new one) will be in the mail asap!
