Happy Birthday, Aloise!

                   Little Girl.  You graduated from kindergarten back then and now you've graduated again.

 

You were young when this one came along but always such a good companion to him.  

And beautiful 2 of you as the years went by. 

Roberto and Kevin were smitten with you during their visit here 5 years ago.  Impressed with your down to earth qualities, your capacity for getting things done (your summer camp job), they way you expressed yourself and the tenderness you showered on them.  You and Lisette became their favorite cousins after one short visit.

And Brent and you. Always Brent and you.

How do I separate the 2 of you? Who even thinks about separating the 2 of you?

You his little Mama at such a young age, he your protector as you both matured.

But you have graduated, haven't you?  No longer the baby being held by her sister; no longer the baby relishing a puppy; no longer Little Girl, but always Little Girl to me, no matter how many years go by.

             Now she is your little girl.  And now you know what it's all about; now you have graduated again.

             This man, this baby, this Henry :)  Your treasures. This is your family now.

                                               But gosh.  This is still you...for all of us.
