For everyone who thought Brokeback Mountain was already unbearably sad to watch, now wouldn't be the time to test the waters. And for the love of God, don't listen to the soundtrack music. I get weepy-eyed just thinking about it. I wonder how Jake feels?

I can't believe he's dead. I'm really really sad about this. And he has a 2 1/2 year old daughter.
I thought of his daughter right away too. And he was only 28! The saddest thing is that it was accidental. I will be sorry not to see more work from this talented actor...after "Candy & "Batman" anyway.

Norm, not sure it was accidental yet. It could be a suicide—hope to find out otherwise.
Actually, a girl at my office heard on the news that he had 2 prescription sleep aids from 2 different doctors and either they did not communicate or he mixed them incorrectly, but apparently it was not suicide. It was also pointed out that he had been traveling and I think was in 3 countries in the last 2 weeks. he was also not sleeping well due to the above listed movies. He plays pretty twisted characters in each and had said that he got into them so deeply that he couldn't sleep. At least I hope my co-worker was right.
I'm really depressed about this. I didn't know he was only 28 until yesterday. As if the scene when Gabriel dies in "The Patriot" didn't make me cry already...
