Days 1 & 2

We left early in the morning to Atlantic City to catch our flight to Orlando. Maggie met this guy (Bently) and was thus amused in the airport. The 3 of us slept for most of the flight and arrived happily in a much warmer climate. This is what greeted us in our room.

Maggie was thrilled after the car, and the plane, and waiting at the FL airport for almost an hour and then a 40 min bus ride to finally be able to stretch her legs at 3PM. I did not get pics this day at our hotel pool, but here's my little princess in her bathing suit, ready to go.

We decided just to wind down at the pool and not rush anything that night. the next day, we headed to Animal Kingdom bright and early. We figured that it would be the least assult on Maggie's senses of all the parks, and that coupled with that, the animals and plantlife would make her comfortable despite the crowds. We were right :)

Birds of all kinds wandered all over the place...much to Magdalene's delight.

She loved this tiger.

Sean and I rode the rollercoaster Expedition Everest, and we wandered around taking in the sights and ate while she slept in her stroller. We then met up with Debbie's family and Barbara, and tried to see the Lion King show, but Maggie freaked out so we left and went on a safari instead.

We all liked the animals and the jeep ride. And then we checked out the Dino Land area (which I did not document, much to your delight). It was cute and had a boardwalk feel to it with it's fair-like games and smaller rides.

Then we wandered some more.

The Tree of Life. it's the central landmark to the park. It's huge, fake, and has animals carved all over the trunk.

And then we Maggie got up close with her first (and favorite) characters.

This was the best moment of the whole trip. Maggie actually saw Pooh first. We had to wait in line to get our picture (older kids were also getting autographs), and she was clammering to get to them. As she approached Pooh with arms outstretched she said with awe, "H-hi Pooh!" And as she hugged Eeyore (who she refers to simply as, Donkey) her eyes kept wandering to Pooh. But no worries, we had lunch scheduled for the next day.

We were tired, but we returned at a reasonable hour to the hotel (around 7) and packed our bag for the next day. We knew we'd have to leave the hotel by 7AM, so we wanted to get to bed early. Next stop, Magic Kingdom.

Wait until you see my other posts. So many pics to choose from.

Do you delete any when you take them?

Haha. After the fact I do. But sometimes you can't tell how good or bad a picture is until you see it larger on the computer.

Probably :)But for the sake of this entry, there were no other pics of her trying to chase them...and that was a big thrill for her so I wanted to include something.
