I never know ahead of time which - if any - pictures I'm going to post for birthdays. And I'm rarely sure what compels me to choose the pictures I finally publish. This time around (while perusing my photos) I went straight for these: Homestead; Granpa's little girl; and lovely lass.

Can't be too many Homestead pictures posted for me, Good Lord, what a sentimentalist I'm becoming in my "old" age. At some point a man realizes that his new role as grandfather gives him the oportunity to make up for being a jerk as a young man.
I want to know when you could ever have been a jerk. It's just not a word I can think of anyone attaching to you, adolescent or not.
