Happy Birthday, Catherine!

 Henry won't crawl and you didn't want to walk.  You've heard the story many times: you would find a matching pair of boots and "walk" with them on your hands.  This particular day, I took one boot away (your leg is resting on the other boot) and this is how you reacted!  Believe it or not, I took this picture with you in mind, knowing that one day I would show it to you when I told you this story :)

We all remember the howls of laughter Cy would get from Brent when he played with him on the high chair. What you probably don't recall is that Cy started this with you, Catherine.  I remember this day so well.  It would be a long time before you'd stop laughing just at the sight of Cy when he'd come into the kitchen and just look at you when you were in the high chair.

And weren't you just the happiest girl on your big wheel. You couldn't get it to move more than a few paces but you were proud as punch just sitting on it while the kids rode their bikes around you.  

 Lisette said it best some months ago: "Is it me or has Catherine just blossomed since Henry was born?"  (Not those exact words, but it's what she meant.)  And it's true: you have truly come into your own.
