So, Maggie really likes karate. She (and we) love that she gets to use lots of weapons and gear.
I thought the fan was cool, an attempt at teaching calm and control.
She's great with the dragon bo, not so good with the nun-chucks (sp?).
Her kicks and punches are getting better, and she loves using the head and body pads and wrestling, Japanese style. (She could tell you what it's called) Oh, and she schooled my on counting in Japanese the other day :)
Her first smashed wood block. Not with her head yet, but she'll get there!
She's still working on her focus and her form...of course, but I am really glad that this has been a success with her. I think she will get a lot out of it. We're hoping she continues for a long time.

And me too; happy she's doing this. She'll have to teach Leo some moves next time you visit
