I don't want his mother to see him this way...

It took 3 bullets to fell this squirrel.

And it's been like that all spring.
So if you're looking to buy Dad something for Father's Day, a gift certificate to Dick's Sporting Goods would do the trick.
He needs a scope for his rifle.
These critters destroy my plants and create havoc all over the place.
Remember the red squirrel that ran up Cy's pants when he was just a young boy?
Do you want squirrels running up the pants or skirts of your children?
I don't think so!
With a scope, not a shot will be wasted.
Dad is even thinking about collecting his dead, skinning and freezing them and then making a delicious stew...for our July Party!
Hahahahaha!
As I leave you I must tell you this:
Dad wanted to post this, but, of course, you don't post your own Father's Day wish.
So he said to me, make it good.
A la Godfather: "I want you to use all your skills and all your talents and all your gifts"
I don't know that I've done that; I don't know that this picture Dad took can top anything I would want to say.

PS. Dad is always worried about the neighbors calling 911 after hearing so many shots.  I told him that come summertime firecrackers are frequent almost every night.  Last night I heard the first of them!  But, Dad "fires" in the evenings, so maybe he has cause to worry.
Which is another reason why he needs to make every shot count.
All I ask of him is that he NOT leave their tails on the kitchen table. He did that last year ~ just one ~ but it grossed Lisette and me out enough that he didn't repeat this gesture.
Ewww!

It wasn't a squirrel tail, it was a rabbit tail, and I thought it would make a nice powder puff.

Well this post made my morning! Maybe we should also chip in for Fathers day for a silencer also just to lower the risk of a 9111 call.

Look here, I do most of my assassainating at 5PM or later. For SOME reason my aim is not what it is earlier in the day. As far as the stew is concerned, to the men at the party YDHAHOYA if you don't try it.

I've been reading about people in the 18th century who at many times were practically living off the stuff...maybe it's not so bad!
