I have always loved these 2 pictures. Just something about frolicking on the lawn (while Lisette waited for the school bus) .... they always make me smile.
I also remember the day Maureen came running into the living room ~ Brent was probably 6 mos. old ~ with this huge smile on her face, saying, "Oh, I can't WAIT until Brent walks! Just thinking about a little boy walking around our house. I just can't wait!"
Maureen may have left you and Aloise on the mantel that one evening, Brent, but she was otherwise kind and devoted to both you and Aloise. She loved spending time with you and playing with you and was always so proud to take you for walks in your stroller.
Which is why I'm posting this picture of the 2 of you.
Who could resist that smile?
You have grown up to be such a fine and good young man. And that smile? It still lights up a room.
