Just got off a conference call with Frank, Luca and our neurosurgeon in Boston regarding
Luca's MRI results - the
syrinx is MUCH MUCH smaller! The pressure is gone, Luca is safe, and the
decompression surgery last March was officially a success!!
I am just giggly and elated and so grateful for all the prayers here and in heaven, and I know Frank is too (he has a really cute giggle.)
I know it's Lent, but we're celebrating tonight!
I can't stop laughing. We love you all.

All prayers are answered. GOD IS GREAT!!! But let us not stop!!! We want nothing less than FULL recovery and a new champion sprinter. Personnally I am expanding the Hail Holy's to include a special daily talk with JPII. This calls for a full court press. Pick your favorite saint and don't give him/her a moment's rest.
Well, your commitment to Luca is reciprocal - again, last night we asked "Is there someone special you'd like to pray for?" (Besides our HHQ of course).
"I'd like to pray for P."
P?
"Poppy!"
Holy, holy, holy what news!! This is so tremendous!! My smile is GIGANTIC.
Que alegria!!!
Bravo Luca!!!!
And full court press it is.
Soooo happy I want to spread the news to everyone!!!!!
Love you Luca!!!
I'm at Annie's right now and just put Lu to bed. You guys should all be very jealous because, at his request, I stayed in bed with him until he fell asleep
(Sorry Annie, but I just couldn't say no. I still owed him one for the despair I caused when Mike said hi just before bedtime. I can still hear the wailing, "Miiiiike, where's Miiiiiike?!")
Didn't take too long, but man alive, nothing is sweeter than laying next to Luca and watching him fall asleep.
YAY LUCA!!!!! This is the best news I've heard in a long time. I love you!!
Bravo, young man! Such happy happy news! Oh my man.
And pretty jealous of you, Lisette. Will I ever have the chance to watch Luca fall asleep. On my list now.
This is just tremendous!. I love you L-U-C-A
