Where it all began

 August 15th: Dad begins to take old tiles off the tired floor, hoping we can salvage the wood underneath

And today's the Big Day; the day we see what color our "new" floor will be :)

                                              But this is where it all began, with all of you.

                                          
                                       We really are almost there!  
By Friday, the floors will be done (and needing a wknd curing). We can start decorating both spaces as early as tomorrow but have to wait until Monday to bring back the kitchen table and bookshelf.  

And by Monday we will have full power in the kitchen. 

                             Our old space is all over the house. This is a mere sample of our deconstruction.
