The floor is down!

 On Monday the electrician came in to place all the ceiling light fixtures and electrical outlets around the room. We are adding 2 small pendant lights to go above the counter facing the eating area.

Jim has 2 big jobs ahead of him so won't be able to sheetrock the walls until 1st of the month. We are re-painting both rooms to a light gray so this is as good a time as any for Dad to start that project.  I took everything off of the walls yesterday and Dad began to work on the ceiling and the base board behind the radiator. 

 This is the new field kitchen. Sometime soon Dad will re-hook the stove and place it in the real kitchen, which will be sooooo nice!

Today Dad and Johnny put down the new floor.
What's left now is to sand, stain and finish it. We'd like to go with the color that's in the game room - nice and warm.
