One more sale and Dad meets his goal of 1K. Cool! And this, kiddies, is all that's left of the garlic.
This of the shallots. Onions were such a hit; they sold out in a week.
Lisette: just a little while ago a woman stopped by and, yes, smelled the garlic. Yikes. These people don't understand that fresh garlic has no smell. But, unlike the previous 2 who sniffed and bolted, this woman bought and left this note.
Yes. Still going strong. Brought these in today and still quite a few out there for future picking...for future red sauce.
But.
Where on earth am I going to put the bags of sauce?
This is what my freezer drawer looks like.
And here's a peak in my chest freezer:
The eggplant parmesan is delicious, btw. Dad took one out for dinner when I got home from FLA and am so thrilled that my efforts will ensure some yummy side dishes over the cold winter months.
Just going to have to squeeze those bags in....somewhere.
Dad guesses the stand will be closed by end of next week. "Yes" I agreed with him and added, "and that's when our summer will come to a close." Seems appropriate, especially with the cool weather that will be meeting us next week.
Goodbye Summer, Welcome Fall

I'm not quite ready to let go of summer. I guess that's a losing battle.
Hot freezers!
1k, holy moly! He did it!
I am jealous of your freezer and plan on "popping" over from time to time for some dinner.
Annnnnd, I am ready for fall. Really, really ready. But I think if I wasn't a teacher I'd feel differently.
All of a sudden used to you being gone and then woke up thinking about and missing you a lot.
Come over any time, Randy.
